With an imposing silhouette that smoothly mirrors the distinctive confidence of the person who has slipped it on, the Cosmo offers a fresh spin on the classic Wellington frame, boldly adding an impressive heft and verticality, as well
as an intriguing side temple that underlines the singular artisanal skills of Akoni’s famed Japanese craftsmen.

Melding together the two signature elements of Akoni—Japan’s finest acetate and titanium—Cosmo’s substantial temples capture the eye, with the sharply sculpted acetate angles channeling light in the mesmerizing manner of kaleidoscopes. Adorned with a branded titanium temple tips topped with the heads of custom Akoni screws, the translucent temples also encase visible titanium cores.

Cosmo’s lenses, with their Akoni logo markings and custom rivets, echo the frame’s distinctive side embellishments. Color choices reflect the assured swagger of those who sport a Cosmo, including black rhodium frame with dark-grey highlights and lenses, and a dark-grey crystal frame with black palladium details and dark-olive lenses. A striking new Akoni acetate color for 2024, crystal burgundy, creates an eye-catching frame when paired with white-gold highlights and dark-blue lenses.
